The natural tendency of each of us when our daily problems plague our lives is to take refuge or to knock quickly on the doorstep of those we consider to be better positioned socially, financially, politically or spiritually than ourselves. We all do it, instinctively and regardless of social rank, mental capacity or skin color, hoping to get as soon as possible the long-awaited answer to solve the problem we are going through; Shouting desperately and exhausted for our rescuers.
Asking for help and advice from others is not bad. To help the little ones or the weaker than us as well, but our trust and our hopeful shelter, and always the first choice should be God!
Ask Him first, ask for His love, and God will love you as His son or daughter. You will then understand what and how much is enough for you so that you can happily enjoy your whole life. For all this to happen, however, we must first understand and believe that God is real; Even if today’s pagan society is trying hard to hide the truth from the world, denying its existence, in their unnaturally strong desire to validate their sinful urges and lusts.
Wherever you are, therefore choose to be an emissary of wisdom today, and daring to believe, put your Creator to the test. You will then see with your own eyes the difference between God and men.
Remember, ‘It is better to seek refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to seek refuge in the Lord than to trust in the great. ‘ Psalm 118: 8-9
