Enthusiastically traversing the winding paths of life, whether we are talking about young or old, each of us has gone through or are going through less pleasant times right now, when the abilities we once thought to be invincible seem to fade when they are hit hard by helplessness.

The fact that we encounter problems everywhere is known to almost everyone, but what we master less is the art of going through the whole amalgam of trials, suffering or trouble with a smile on your face and joy in your heart.

I know, it sounds absurd and maybe too idealistic, but looking closely at the teachings of the Bible we notice an aspect of great nobility; namely, that God will take care of us even as we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, and in His Fatherly Goodness dedicated and full of passion for His children, He will finally bring us to the harbor.

Looking closely behind you and diligently analyzing the paths we have taken throughout our history, we see that what seemed like an amalgam of our own decisions is in fact part of a majestic plan to grind the character we all belong to. , but which we often twist at will. Namely, when we do well, we take pride in all our merits and rush into life without rationalizing the consequences, and when we do badly, we blame others.

However, by choosing to be honest with ourselves, we will be amazed that we have taken all the harmful decisions that have put us in the restrictive situations of life selfishly, independently, and without consulting the Creator.

As for me, today I choose to adopt a satisfying attitude in which the Peace of God embraces my heart. Then I will boast more and more of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may remain in me.

If you want to taste it, fortunately try the unique mentality of being a son of God today.

Remember: ‘My grace is sufficient for you; for My power is made perfect in weakness. ‘2 Corinthians 12: 9

I run to the goal, for the prize of God’s heavenly calling, in Christ Jesus. This thought, however, should enliven all of us who are perfect (gr. We have reached maturity). ‘ Philippians 3: 14-15

Every true believer should have a goal to which he is running, approaching every second the finish line, the apotheotic end in which we will receive our due reward for our running.

So we have hope, we have a goal, we have a motivation: that in the end it awaits us with the laurels of victory in the very hand of God.

The Bible describes the feelings and emotions that every athlete has when he crosses the finish line, exhausted, after a grueling race in which he has consumed every drop of energy in the hope of getting the best position in the competition, and then waits. happy and fearlessly the medal of recognition of his merits!

Looking at this image of self-sacrifice that brings victory, I notice the great discrepancy between the mentality of a champion and the lax, often pointless, attitude of a postmodern, unmotivated Christianity.

However, the Bible motivates us to reconsider our mentality deficient in ‘spiritual lethargy’ and ‘pedestrians’ who are bored and chaotically on their way to the Kingdom of Heaven, inviting us today to change our perspective and course of action!

Faith is the vision of the Bible, an eminently active force, a constant struggle for holiness, a sacrifice to become better, cleaner, truer!

‘Don’t you know that those who run in the race all run, but only one gets the prize?’ the Apostle Paul warned us 2000 years ago

But run in such a way that you will receive the prize of the heavenly calling!

How much more do you perceive God’s blessing in your own life? In other words, is there an attitude of gratitude specific to a grateful person because he has the grace to have lived to see and discern the wonders of creation?

If not, imagine today one of the most difficult and ungrateful situations in human life, namely, what it would have been like to have been born ‘blind’ in a world of ‘deaf-mute’.

It is a dramatic, cynical and hopeless situation, because if the deaf or dumb still have a small chance of understanding each other, because I see the reality around them, you, a blind man in the world of the deaf and dumb would have remained condemned forever to the sinister mist of silence.

If for the former there is not the slightest possibility of alleviating the despair of the soul by distinguishing the ‘signs’ of others, reality would have buried you in nothingness, nullifying any possibility of seeing, speaking, or hearing; in other words, with no chance of communicating and finding meaning in life.

By transcribing this picture into the deityless daily life of modern man, we can summarize that we have colored our lives with stress, worry, and despair, thus annihilating our ability to see the hope and joy of salvation.

If you find yourself in a situation where you have been deceived by the unsubstantiated promises of people, believing that you will find answers to the questions and problems that dig into your decadence, remember today that only with the Lord Jesus can you find fulfillment, delight. and abundance, and that only through Him can you come to see, hear, and feel the truth.

How do you deal with trouble and distress?

The natural tendency of each of us is to take refuge or to knock quickly on the doorstep of those we consider to be better positioned socially, financially, politically, or spiritually than ourselves. We all do it instinctively, regardless of our rank, in the hope of receiving the solution we are going through as soon as possible; shouting desperately and exhausted for our rescuers.

Asking for help and advice from others is not a bad thing; to help those who are smaller or weaker than us as well, but our trust and our trustworthy shelter, and always the first choice should be God!

Ask Him first, ask for His love, and God will love you as His son or daughter. You will then understand what and how much is enough for you so that you can happily enjoy your whole life.

But for all this to happen, we must first understand and believe that God is a real being, not just a religious chimera. Wherever you are, you choose to be an emissary of wisdom today, and daring to believe, put your Creator to the test.

Then you will see with your own eyes the difference between God and men, for it is written:

“It is better to seek refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. it is better to seek refuge in the Lord than to trust in the great. ‘ Psalm 118: 8-9

‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.’ it is God’s greatest commandment to mankind (Deuteronomy 6: 5)

How can I love what I don’t see or how can I love someone I don’t feel and can’t experience? Why run after archaic chimeras, in a society so developed that it can satisfy all my cravings and desires ?!
This is the cold and impersonal echo of the selfish mentality that has parasitized the world … Mankind has become accustomed to a sinful life and has ‘atheized’ its mind and soul!
Believing ourselves strong in ourselves, we turned away from God and rejected the mentality He wanted to imprint on each of us — a mistake that made us prisoners in a world of illusory happiness.
In the course of history, enslaved by the passions of the heart, we learned the ‘art’ of self-dependence, thus leaving the love and dedication to our Creator.
But looking back at the ancient commandment, I rediscover the value of man’s dependence on God, of the ‘practical love and faith’ that is shown daily in our deeds.
Acts directed to all around us, as the apostle Paul exhorted us that the ‘fruit of light’ lies in all goodness, in righteousness, and in the truth with which we ‘clothe’ our daily lives.

Walk guided by the Holy Spirit without fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. ‘ Galatians 5:16

Meditating carefully on this verse out of a desire to understand what God wants for us, we have noticed that one of the most important principles of the Christian life is total obedience under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, God of God, part of the Trinity working in us and through us should be found in the practical thinking and attitude of every true Christian.

The presence of the Godhead in our lives should be seen naturally in our behaviors, practices, and especially in our daily words, and should not be seen exclusively in empty statements.

In simple terms we could say that a man full of the Holy Spirit will practically bring the presence of God to the place where he is; where looking at him, all those around him can easily distinguish the peace, kindness, gentleness, and dense, contagious joy of a real believer.

Understanding now the wonderful perspective of the divine mentality, I stop for a moment from the tumultuous running of life and ask myself in secret:

‘Am I really under the authority of God or, on the contrary, am I trying my best to impose my own will, thus living the illusion of a false holiness’?

Thought of the day:

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your good spirit guide me on the right path! ”

This is one of the noblest and most sincere prayers uttered on the lips of a man and through which David, the great King of Israel, demonstrates to all of us the noble attitude and divine character that should guide our lives.

In fact, one of the great mistakes that man makes during his life is to think of himself as wise, considering that he knows beforehand and better than anyone else how to behave in relation to the vital aspects of his ephemeral existence.

The same is true when it comes to the practical expression of faithfulness to God, a chapter in which most of us remain courageous and then ashamed because most of the time we do not know how to relate correctly to the Godhead, nor how to communicate. with the Godhead and especially, how to behave in accordance with His will.

Therefore, preferring to practice an “ear-to-ear” Christianity, one that runs parallel to the Bible rather than in accordance with its teachings, we have all plunged into the mists of ‘spiritual amateurism’ lacking so much consistency and effect, but especially by God.

By carefully and diligently reading the Bible’s text today in Psalm 143:10, we realize that in order to properly understand the will of the Creator, we must first learn how to communicate with Him, leaving the reins of our authority in full of the understanding of the Holy Spirit; and then to apply in the same way in daily practice the whole methodology of true holiness and faith.

Thus, by choosing to live each day under the aegis of the holy teachings, we will rekindle the light of truth in a society that is gradually sinking under the thick mist of spiritual darkness, and perhaps all around us, perceiving the divine scent emanating with love and kindness, they will return from death to life.

Meditating on the Savior’s sufferings 2000 years ago, the One who would surrender Himself into the hands of sinners to bring forgiveness and atonement to the whole world, realized that neither the nails nor the Roman whip had caused him the greatest pain. .

Neither the heavy cross nor the mockery of his enemies hurt him as much as the unbelief and distrust of his disciples, the people with whom the Creator began his work of rehabilitation and salvation of mankind, and whom before His passions at Calvary, Christ passionately called them ‘friends of God.’

Carefully examining the behavior of all of them, you will be surprised to see that they have all too soon forgotten the promise of their Lord, namely, that He, the sinless man, will not remain captive to the grave and decay, and that in only three days they will meet again. Galilee!

Looking as if in the future with the accuracy of a fine observer, Zechariah, one of the most skilled Prophets of the chosen people, secretly postulated:

Because we are nothing more than the disciples of old, people who have forgotten too quickly the purpose, purpose and destiny of life, stop today for a moment from the hustle and bustle of your run and ask yourself in secret if you have not fallen and you in the same absurd rituals and practices that have invaded mankind, forgetting to apply the divine essence in your own life.

Where do you look for your God and how much more do you trust in His Word?

Remember: the deepest wounds He has endured and still affect Him are generated by unbelief in every behavior, word, or thought that takes us away from Him, turning us into substanceless people; in mere imitators of some desideratum which we do not understand and have not yet fully assimilated into ourselves.
