The fundamental chemical element around which is built both human life and all living organisms around it, is called ‘carbon’. We find it everywhere around us: in expired air and even in the chemical composition of our own body.
And yet, a brief foray into science shows us that this element cannot be created on earth but is generated only in the heart of a star which emphasizes not only the complexity but especially the mastery with which God created all things. An art that makes the Psalmist exclaim:
I quote: ‘When I look at the heavens, the work of Your hands, the moon and the stars that you have made, I ask myself: “What is man, that you should think of him? And the son of man, that ye may know him? ‘ I ended the quote (Psalm 8: 3-4)
Thus mysteriously made from the distant cob of the stars, and receiving in ourselves a soul from the soul of the Creator God, we have been brought to this earth to carry in our bodies and minds both perfect beauty and especially pure character; Thus letting His divine radiance be seen even in the darkest corners of this corrupt world. A world that has sold itself to sin and is sinking more and more into disobedience to God, defiling all its moral courts with iniquity.
Wherever you are, listen today with remembrance to the cry of your Creator who calls you to wisdom; A voice that still resounded over the centuries radiating love, hope and acceptance.
After all, whether we like it or not, history will soon draw its last curtain over its sin-stained scene.
So bow your mind, heart and soul in reverence today, staring at the heavens, for that is where our redemption comes from. Do not miss any opportunity to work for God, for your heavenly Father in this world, because “He who comes will come and will not delay, and our eternal reward is with Him, to give to each one according to his works. ”
Be blessed!
