Two of the disappointed Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ were walking to Emmaus. They did not recognize the Lord Jesus when He met them and when He opened the scriptures to their understanding. Only after they had finished the conversation did they suddenly understand Who they had been talking to. Maybe you are also walking today on a path of confusion or discouragement, but do not forget. The Lord Jesus is there in your footsteps. Open your heart and he will rekindle your passion and direction. Then, after you have convinced yourself that God is alive, tell them and others and tell them that it is time to change direction and turn to God who never tires of forgiving and blessing.
