‘Let us love one another, for love is from God.’ The Apostle John simply postulated; then explaining what was behind this beautiful statement:
I quote: ‘He who does not love has not known God, because God is love.’ (1 John 4: 7-8) I ended the quote.
Used in our culture often in a deficient way, the concept ‘Love’ comes from the Greek ‘Agapeo’, a term that describes rather ‘self-sacrifice’ (having as motivation in action unconditional love for others … for others).
An energy discharge that will most often remain unrecognized and unrewarded, even blamed by some of the direct beneficiaries of the ‘sacrifice’ paid so dearly!
Extending this idea to the spiritual level, we understand that to truly love one another is to follow the practical and compassionate example of our Creator; He who did not hesitate to sacrifice himself for all mankind, for those whom he loved and appreciated unconditionally.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:11.
Be blessed!
