Thought of the day:
Developing in a world corrupted by sin and divided by the politics of hatred and the desire for revenge, we have thus reached the ungrateful situation in which we say with smiling faces ‘peace, peace’ unfairly using the blessed words of the Savior, because we hide Behind the iron curtains of their own minds, hatred and a strong desire to pay old policies and debts that gnaw at us from within, like the worm that sharply grinds the root of the strongest and towering ebony.
Thus dramatically reversing its values, contemporary Christianity has become a dubious desideratum, in which from the persecuted we have become persecutors of our own values, fighting among ourselves for supremacy with a fierce and unstoppable lust. Thus, all that the ‘Roman arenas’ failed in the cruel attempt to bring down the faith, we succeeded ourselves by moving away from the values of the Godhead and by refusing to remain on the foundation on which the Lord Jesus built His Church; A foundation we generically call the Gospel of Peace.
In fact, the Bible reminds us today that the happy children of the Godhead are easily recognizable in this motley world; They are all those who seek the Peace of God and put it into practice in their daily lives because it is written:
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. —Matthew 5: 9-10
So we are talking about simple people, but who out of love for God take the risk of being ridiculed every day, paying dearly for this daily ‘violation of the rules’!
After all, we know that ‘all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.’
Motivated, therefore, by the Goodness of God, we choose to patiently accept trouble and persecution, proclaiming the Beauty of Divine Peace, for the promise of our Savior is the desideratum that propels us both the will and the doing.
Be Blessed!
